Just before the recession, I bought a new car.\u00a0 I had a model in mind and had been dreaming about this car ever since I left college and now that I finally had the means to go after that dreams I set upon finding the best deal for myself.\u00a0 My quest started with the Sunday paper where I came across an ad which quoted a price I thought I could live with.\u00a0 I remember exactly that day.\u00a0 I picked up the paper bright an early on that Sunday, a good 3 hours before the dealership opened.\u00a0 I got to the dealership well before opening time and there it was, the advertised car with the sticker price that looked so promising.\u00a0 I was litteraly trembling with excitment.\u00a0 As the doors opened, I was the first customer to walk in.\u00a0 Actually it was so early that I was the only customer to walk in.\u00a0 I went straight to a sales man and told him that car with the special offer, I want it, and I don’t even need financing to buy it.\u00a0 “Sorry mam, it’s already been sold!” was the answer.<\/p>\n
He didn’t have to look or anything, he knew that in fact that car had never been available at the special price on the ad.\u00a0 It’s called baiting the customer to walk into the store.\u00a0 Sounds familiar?<\/p>\n
